The doors to the arboretum whooshed open and the two women had reactions that couldn't have been more opposite.
Dr. Terasha's antennae twitched, a slight frown on her blue lips.
Nurse Kathy's brown eyes widened in excitement.
"Nice!" exclaimed Kathy. "This is going to be great." She rushed inside, leaving Terasha standing alone in the corridor, and made her way to the first, handsome, unattended, young male officer she could find.
Plants. A room full of plants. The tips of Terasha's antennae twitched slightly. It wasn't that Andorians disliked plants, but being from an ice world, they were unaccustomed to being around them. The sudden rush of fragrances and smells, had momentarily flooded her senses. Taking a breath, she stepped inside and began scanning the room for the captain.
